Field trials of capsicum and corn conducted at Greater Sydney LLS Demonstration Farm showed that recycled organic compost augmented with slow-release nitrogen to compensate for the N drawdown typically experienced following initial application resulted in healthy growth. heavy fruit and high yields; and compost benefits to soil and plant health increased over time.
